Kemek - Obake Radio (2013) FLAC
 I'm fascinated by ghosts and monsters. In Japanese, the word for ghost is "obake" (pronounced oh-bah-kay). One day I had the idea of a haunted radio, or an obake radio, that played music from beyond our world. I don't think my music is anything nearly that fantastic but I often think of the unconscious as an unknown and uncanny place, much like the liminal world that ghosts and monsters come from... I know that I made it—I was there, after all, pressing keys and turning dials—but sometimes I feel like I'm only an engineer, there to capture the sounds as they emerge from the other side.
